I was looking over this code a few days ago, and I realised that everything is way too static. Nothing changes much from day to day, there's no reason to come back and look to see what's new...
This is bad. In some sort of half-arsed attempt to partially remedy this, I'll leave some comments on what's occupying me at the moment.
Programming- I've got a copy of the match data from the 2003-2004 premiership series, which I've put into a MySQL database. I've applied ELO rankings to it, in an effort to try and predict what match results will be. Money (when I try it) seems to about breaking even. I even won an accumulator across 5 matches.
This isn't online - it's very CGI based, and this host want extra money for that.
Mensa- I'm a fairly active member of Mensa - attend any of the large meetings in London and I'll either be there, or one of the locals will tell you which other meetings I'd be likely to turn up to...
Online games- Settlers of Catan - I'm playing online at http://www.s3dconnector.net/ . I'm playing as Monty Worm - and I'm not particularly good.
- Everyone needs a MMORPG - mine is Disney's Toontown Online. Something about the things you can do in animation appeals to me. The character I'm playing ATM is a green duck - Monty Nuttynoodle.
